Prepare silver
Set a hard silver budget before refreshing trade routes. Prioritize mercenaries that solve a current event or citadel requirement instead of buying every available unit. Confirm the current clan note before acting.
Use the seven-day window
Recruit close to the operation that needs them. Record expiry times in the SAM event board so temporary strength is not assumed after it disappears. Report any mismatch to an officer.
